My Story
Hi and thank you so very much for stopping by! My name is Angie and I became a Scentsy Family Independent Consultant on Oct. 31, 2010. I first joined this amazing and ScEnTsAtIoNaL company because I, as an elementary teacher, was always dipping into my family accounts to buy things for my classroom. I wanted to stop doing that (and start doing some girly things for myself without feeling like I was taking away from my family). So, in Dec. 2010, because of Scentsy, I was able to finally get that copy machine I'd been wanting~without sacrificing my time being a mommy to my wonderful 11-year old son, Thomas, and a wife to my husband, Rick. Do you see the two people on either side of me? That's Orville & Heidi Thompson~and as founders/owners of Scentsy Fragrance ~ they truly understand the need that most of us have~we want to help our families as much as possible but at the same time not work so hard that we are unable to enjoy them and the fruits of our labor. Scentsy is perfect for doing just that! Scentsy has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I've become more confident and am learning to step outside my comfort zone. I've also met some truly inspirational and supportive people by attending trainings on-line, on the phone, and in person. In fact, that's how I got to meet Orville and Heidi and take the photo you see~at Spring Sprint, Feb.4, 2013, Murfreesboro, TN.
